John Howarth has worked in education IT for over 14 years and has managed an award winning Local Authority SIMS support service.

He is the former Vice-chair of the SIMS Northern User Group – the UK’s largest group of SIMS support managers – and has held a seat on the national SIMS Strategic Advisory Panel.

John is a registered PRINCE2 Practitioner, certified to deliver the Office of Government Commerce project management methodology. He is also a member of Naace, the organisation that supports the advancement of education through the appropriate use of ICT.
